Based in Sāo Paulo Evil Twin Music was founded in 2017 and quickly established itself as one of Brazil’s leading music and audio production houses, creating and curating soundtracks for clients including NIKE, IKEA, FACEBOOK, CHANEL, BUDWEISER, P&G, C&A and many others.

With their unique cosmopolitan Sāo Paulo sound and a dose of leftfield Brazilian attitude founders and brothers André and Murilo Faria soon made a name for themselves as one of the most innovative, original, creative and cutting edge forces in the industry. In fact Meio & Mensagem, the most important ad magazine in Latin America, included them in their Top 10 list of audio production companies recently.

Most notably Evil Twin were behind the hugely successful official Nike 2018 Footbal World Cup “braziallian funk” commercial “Vai Na Brasileiragem”, featuring Brazilian “heavy baile” artist Leo Justi. The commercial drew attention all over the world and was featured in Billboard Magazine.

Gaining the trust of international clients Evil Twin soon were awarded prestigious national and international awards, including 14 Cannes Lions Awards for Budweiser’s “Tagwords” campaign at the Grand Prix in 2018 and the Lacta 5Star “Chocolat World” Gold Lion Campaign in 2019.

Their ground breaking DA&D Next Awards Campaign saw them work side by side with F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi on a series of animation film sequences and radio spots featuring the voice over of Grammy nominated singer Dru Barnes, recorded in Brooklyn/NYC. This collaboration was to be the most awarded campaign at the Brazilian Creative Club that year.

Since its inception Evil Twin has grown into an international music production powerhouse, offering one stop music consultancy including creative conception, supervision, bespoke composition and music production, as well as sound styling.

Besides André’s creative background as a Creative Director and Copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB and Mura’s expertise as electronic producer and DJ for two decades, the team in Brazil consists of four in house music producers, three sound FX/special effects producers and mixing engineers. Evil Twin’s downtown Sāo Paulo offices also comprise of six in house recording studios and three dedicated account managers, assuring that all projects and handled time sensitively and efficiently. Though based in Brazil Evil Twin keep their ears close to the ground of emerging artists from all over Latin America and keep growing an impressive roster of new talent.

In summer of 2021 Henning Dietz was appointed as Evil Twin’s European representative and will be overseeing the agency’s international business from London/UK.
